Hotel Villa Chiquita Adults Only Over 12

A couple of days ago we went for a stroll around Colonia Sant Jordi, and some girls told us the best sunset was from Villa Chiquita. So off we went, and honestly, it didn’t disappoint us at all — quite the opposite, we were blown away by the place and its magic. Everything just seemed to flow — the super attentive waiters, the food, and the very good music. I remember there was this really lovely female DJ who even offered to take some photos of us, and they turned out gorgeous. Definitely a spot worth coming back to and recommending. We’re lucky to find places like this.

Stumbled upon this place, on a day trip, and enjoyed a gorgeous and unforgettable sunset, with the best vibes, thanks to DJ Rachel de Vidal, who will for sure follow to her next gig! Great mixes! And the perfect setting!

Unfortunate to have to write this because we had a great trip overall and the staff were very friendly! But we had multiple issues with our rooms with failed attempts at resolution and no compensation at the end for the disruption. Our initial room (106) had poor air-conditioning, which was uncomfortable in 36-degree heat, we asked for it to be fixed and were told we would be informed when it was. We had to check again with the front desk if it had been resolved twice before they offered us another room as it wasn't resolved. Our second room (107) had slightly better air-conditioning, but the ceiling light began leaking as seen in pictures. We came back to our room to a wet floor and wet suitcase. We again reported this and were not informed if it had been fixed while we were out for the evening. We came to check at reception on the evening of the 29th and met no staff there after 5 mins of ringing the bell. The next morning, the leaking continued, which we reported before checking out. We received apologies but no offer of compensation, which is disappointing for a 4-star hotel that had taken our money and accepted further full payments on check out. If the hotel can confirm their issues with air con and ceiling leaks are resolved before booking paying customers into the rooms, then it would've been a fantastic stay. The Sunset Sea Club was gorgeous, and the breakfasts were okay (we did have an issue with pork being present in a vegetarian omelette and chia seed pudding tasting off which were both reported too)
