Hotel Villa Damanti

Everything seemed to be going well, I booked 4 rooms and for the first 3 rooms no problems, the hotel looks quite good, everything is very clean, we used the swimming pool with the deckchairs and everything went well. To note the almost absence of staff, the owner and manager of the hotel is an elderly person who, I'm sorry to say, should retire because he is no longer capable (or perhaps never was) of managing the situation. Large and very clean rooms, good breakfast but almost absent breakfast service. Large swimming pool but without services. Our holiday was transformed when, upon arrival, the people who were supposed to occupy room 4 were told that their room had been given to others and they no longer had any other rooms available... The manager and owner Prof. Instead of trying to find a solution and apologizing, Damante invited us to leave, swearing at us in a rather nervous manner. We asked for additional beds to accommodate the 2 people left without a room, but we were told that there were no more beds that could be added. The pool lifeguard was very helpful and friendly but he seemed anything but a lifeguard also because his time spent checking the pool was almost zero. Our room was not cleaned and I had to ask for toilet paper and clean towels. It should be noted that during the day of August 14th many people arrived and left because their booked rooms were not available. In summary, the holiday went well because we still had fun, the hotel is good but the management is definitely worth forgetting. Not recommended.

Nice structure itself with ample parking but with terrible management. The owner is a grumpy and rude old man. Terrible services for a 4 star. The rooms look nice but when I arrived neither the light nor the TV were working. We had to request a change of tablecloths and we did not have the sheets changed. There is no cleaning of the rooms by the staff. They have a swimming pool with no entertainment and few deckchairs. Minimal breakfast with few things and counted.

Our stay at this property was rather disappointing. Our friends had booked 4 rooms on different dates between the 13th and 16th, we were supposed to arrive on the 14th evening, upon our arrival at the time of checking in the owner of the property told us that our room was not available that it had been given to another couple and that he had no other room that he could give us for that night, we spent the night at the pool and shared the room with our friends. In all this, instead of apologizing for the inconvenience caused to us, the owner addressed us customers in a very aggressive way, using terms that were also inappropriate. Despite this we only stayed to be in the company of our friends and spend the evening together. We were given the room on the 15th evening after a couple from our group left the hotel. A poorly or perhaps not at all organized structure, a poorly maintained swimming pool, dusty corridors, lack of staff and what was underused... At the end of our stay in the hotel, if we can call it that, the only positive note is that at least it had the dignity of not charging us for the night spent. Not recommended!!
