Thanks to mister David for the most excellent service we receive in Europe .. Ask for David we had pretty good expérience
We chose this location using Expedia. It is generally spot on with the reviews and information but.... This is in no way A 4 star hotel! The listing states a pool inside and outside (when asked we were told that there was a community pool nearby), the restaurant is only open Monday -Thursday (not the hours listed on the site) leaving us to search elsewhere ( the hotel is not within safe, nighttime walking distance to locations)The "modern" rooms have a great need of upgrading. I understand that we are all trying to recover from Covid closures but it is no excuse for the lack of attention to details. The room had marks on all of the walls, curtains and furniture. The bed had a broken leg and the mattress was hard and felt all of the springs with no mattress cover. Hard pillows, towels with stains or holes, absolutely nothing printed in the room to inform you of services or who to call, shower doors did not close all the way. The breakfast is included in the price but don't expect anything special. The reviews for breakfast were another let down. Each morning we went to breakfast we were greeted to a bare buffet. Being in Parma you would hope for local fare yet there was nothing fresh or non confection. We had to ask each morning if they would refill the ham and cheese platter (mind you it was only 9:00). The noise from the kitchen and air vents were Soo loud ( of course, we were lucky enough to have that right outside our window). The plus? Well, the room was clean. The front desk staff were friendly enough. I'm sure this would be fine for a business meeting but that's it.
The room is way worse than motel 6, not dirty but everything is so so cheaply made and temporary, even worse than a dorm. I slept at hostels and on airport floors many times, but this hotel is at best 1*, how the hell can they list themselves as 4*?
