Hotel Villa Duse

Really lovely family hotel. All the staff are so nice and helpful. The room was lovely and breakfast, when we chose to have it, was delicious, especially Maria Rosaria's homemade cakes! The location is great as it's in a quieter part of Rome so a great escape from the crowds in the touristy areas. Near to two beautiful parks and there are some really great restaurants in the area so no need to venture into central Rome every day. Would highly recommend this place.

Great hotel, very friendly staff & owners. Located 15 minutes away by bus 360 from the centre with a bus station located 1 block away from the hotel. It's an historic roman villa decorated with stylish old furniture. Excellent price-quality.

We stayed in the library suite. Quaint, spacious room with two big windows and a couch. Bed was comfortable. A/C was functional, though a bit weak. Bathroom vents sometimes smelled like smoke. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Lots of outdoor seating on the patio with an honesty bar. Location is in a quiet neighborhood, at least 30 min walk from city center. Use taxis or buses to get to major attractions quickly; don’t bother with the commuter rail. The nearby restaurants are good. The piazza muse nearby is a very nice little park, with a lovely view.
