Hotel Villa Favorita

Beautifully restored property. Our room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Windows opened for nice sea breeze. Restaurant was good. Property is about 15 minute drive from Noto. Surrounded by lemon Grove. Distant view of the sea.

Villa Favorita is a very well rounded hotel, set in an idyllic setting of the traditional Sicilian countryside surrounded by lemon fields and the hotel itself is a traditional build which has been refurbished perfectly. I came across this hotel simply on Google Maps when I was exploring for somewhere to stay near Noto, due to Noto itself featuring as a place on the Netflix series, The White Lotus. The hotel seemed reasonably priced for 4 nights and I booked via my travel agent. On arrival, the hotel was easy to find, easy parking and easy check-in by the friendly front team. My room was okay, not perfect but it was everything I needed for four nights. The air-con worked perfectly and the room was clean which are the main points. However, my room itself was dark, the shower did not have a great water pressure and not many electrical outlet points available (only 1 beside the bed and 1 next to the fridge). In addition, a full body height (top to bottom) mirror would've been beneficial as there was only mirrors for top half in the bathroom. The cons of the room can easily be outweighed by the positives of the hotel which include an amazing pool, with plentiful of sun loungers, cabanas and parasols to allow a great day beside the pool. If you wish to go to one of the nearby beaches (I recommend Pizzuta or Eloro), the hotel reception can help you with borrowing a beach parasol to take with you. The breakfast buffet was simply wonderful, on a terrace that overlooks the lemon tree fields with the sea on the horizon. Traditional Italian breakfast including ricotta pies, eggs, meats, pastries etc and fresh juices and coffees too. The same can be said about the evening meal / drinks which is located in the same area as the breakfast. The prices are very reasonable for a hotel and the food is amazing, I highly recommend the roast beef with a side of vegetables. Nice wine and beer too. The service is exceptional too with familiar waiters throughout my stay. There are also 2-3 resident cats, which the hotel feed near the reception entrance, they are all beautiful, friendly and I am sure they would appreciate some of your unfinished meat from breakfast. I did this trip as a solo traveller and I felt very welcome and looked after and I would definitely return should I be visiting this part of Sicily again. Thank you Villa Favorita 😁

The photos don’t do justice to this hotel, beautiful restored villa, the service is great and you have an incredible view of Noto. Is just 6min away from the old town. The rooms are really nice.
