Hotel Villa Fontaine Village Izukogen

Staff were great and very helpful. A woman at the front desk helped me call three different car rental agencies to find a rental car for us. Was blown away at how helpful she was. My family loved the hotel provided pajamas. The hotel offered many amenities to keep our family busy and entertained.

We stayed three nights. It's a very nice hotel. The onzen is not that big (two baths) but with a very nice view. Sauna is also included. Billiard, board games, cards and table tennis are for free, we also used the Karaoke room (about 2200 yen per hour fee). The "rooms" are actually spacious appartments with a full equipped kitchen. There's a tatami room and a bedroom. The nearest convinience store is unfortunately a bit far (~20 minutes walk). The hotel offers vending machines for beer, softdrinks and ice cream with fair prices. Ice cubes are for free, also free coffee in the lobby. Onzen area is open until 25:00h (1 a.m.) and opens at 5:00h (5 a.m.) in the morning. There is also a nice and clean pool for kids (opened until 21:00h and 22:00h on weekends). Altogether we had a really great stay, also not too crowded.

Giant hotel with A LOT of facilities - if you want to spend every night after a trip playing pool, swimming, onsen, karaoke, this is the place to be. There’s also a dog park. Also, the front desk people are super nice and really good at english! Come.
