Hotel Villa Glori

All staff were so friendly and helpful! The room was lovely and air conditioned. It was very clean. The breakfast had a good selection and was very tasty! The hotel itself was around a 30 minute walk to wherever we needed to be and you could easily get a bus. We chose to walk and it was so lovely!

Rooms small but functional and clean. Lock on bathroom door removed ? Breakfast had good fresh selection. No English Tv channels. Not sure I like the idea of leaving room key on Reception every time you went out as no security in place when you return just ask for a room number and get your key back no I’d required. Location is little remote from city needing metro and a bus to get back and forth. Small number of local restaurants and bars close by as bar in hotel very limited on choice.

I am not sure if there are new criteria to attribute 4* to hotels, but I can certainly consider this the smallest room I have ever paid. I did not know I could suffer from claustrophobia while staying at a hotel! The building on the whole is remarkably quaint, with the bathrooms being the only 'modern' part. The lift is a '1 person + 1 suitcase' size with interiors that would require a major refurbishment, breakfast is unexciting and .. to top things off.. it looks like the TV connection is not as healthy either. The staff is polite but.. not enough to consider staying here again in the future.
