I don't understand how this hotel ever got 4 stars. The rooms are clean, but have rather old furniture. My room was a triple (not a double with an extra bed, but declared a triple on the magicland website) and I had a camp bed (and I also fell as soon as I sat down because the "legs" were not opened properly). In the room there was a refrigerator with a small freezer (a positive thing) but it was old and made quite a noise (a negative thing). The balcony is beautiful, large with a beautiful view. Not as convenient as I thought to go to magicland (it still takes 25-30 minutes by car). But good location if you want to do both sightseeing in Rome and Magicland (being in fact halfway) Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast (better than some hotels I've visited, less choice than many other hotels) Good only considering that I paid 90 euros for two nights including 4 days in magicland.
Calling it a 4-star hotel is really going too far, perhaps forty years ago! The rooms were truly substandard, even the one I stayed in (a pseudo-triple) had missing covers on some power outlets, the television was impossible to watch because the remote control was out of batteries, and there was even no telephone in the rooms. The bathroom didn't feel clean at all, like the rest of the room. The breakfast buffet was truly poor and of very low quality. Finally, in the morning they tried to sell me a bottle of water for €2, when I had bought the same water the night before at the hotel and they had charged me €1.50. I would suggest a "star review." I strongly advise against it!!!
I don't know who gives stars to hotels but I can certainly say that it's not 4 star. I would dare to call it a terrible, badly managed dive with inexperienced people. when we arrived in the evening they showed us our dirty and smelly room without the basic comforts of a hotel, the dinner was terrible (the chef better change jobs) I don't recommend it to anyone, it's a shame because it is managed by expert people with a bit of experience the results would certainly be remarkable
