Hotel Villa Lehmi

For tranquility and get away from the rat race, this is the place for you. We came for our 25th wedding anniversary and have been treated like royalty. Superb service, friendly staff and the food is amazing.

This quiet country house hotel is situated approximately 4 kilometres from the small pueblo of Tarbena located in the mountains to the rear of Altea. The hotel is typically of the Spanish style with dark furniture. We chose the suites. The rooms are sizable with enormous bathrooms. All are fitted with air conditioning and are very quiet. The hosts were very friendly and willing to help and provide any information to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The facilities are considerable, with outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a tennis court, a golf driving range, and, of course, access to many mountain walks or cycle routes. The breakfast was very nice. An evening meal was available if prebooked, but the hosts also recommended restaurants in Tarbena. The reason for not awarding more was that the outdoor swimming pool was located about a 100+ metre walk uphill. Not good for the less able, and although the rooms had TV's, we could not get ours to work, and there was no one available to ask. This before 10pm.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, great views from the pool, having to pay extra for some of the facilities like the indoor pool and sauna looses a star. but i would recommend the hotel.
