Hotel Villa Malpensa

Very nice hotel in a great location.   The hotel is very well run and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Because of the hotel’s location, being so close to the airport, most of the guests are probably only staying at the hotel for one or two nights – but the service, food and rooms were all excellent. The room and bathroom size was great, very comfortable and very well maintained. The pool is also great (and the water was at a great temperature) and pool towels are available for guests. The shuttle to and from the airport is super well run and on time and a very short trip – 5-7 minutes at most. The food and service at breakfast was very good – although the staff started breaking down the breakfast buffet a little early (it seemed to me.) Our dinner and wine were excellent as were our dessert and drinks in the bar. (That’s a half order of the pasta shown in the pictures. The kitchen kindly split our shared order on two plates.) I do have one suggestion for management:  Breakfast and dinner are both served in the same room – the room is large and has large windows but the windows were covered – one couldn’t see outside.  It felt a little claustrophobic, especially in the summer, when it was still light outside till late. Perhaps there could also be some seating for meals or the bar available outside? That would be great. (Although I realize this creates a lot of extra labour.)

After touring Europe for 25 days, this was our overnight before flying out. The junior suit was perfect, the balcony was so grand and we felt like we we in a castle. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower was well appreciated after air bnb's & other accommodation. Dinner & red wine was first class, breakfast was okay and the shuttle service to the airport, was precisely on time and no charge if you booked your stay directly with their website. All and all, very very comfortable, ice, champagne, whatever you need.

This is a great hotel just near the airport. Free shuttle bus literally takes couple of minutes. Extensive grounds with pool plus bar and very nice restaurant. Very large comfortable bed with large bathroom and accessories. We have used it a couple of times now and also stored some luggage between trips. Very friendly staff. Breakfast has everything you could need. This is a great place to stay if leaving early for airport. We will be back.
