Hotel Villa Maria

Our stay at Villa Maria in Sorrento was a truly wonderful experience. The location is perfect. Just a short walk from the heart of town with stunning views of the sea and surrounding hills. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, (might be a bit retro) and the atmosphere of the entire hotel was warm and relaxing. We highly recommend Villa Maria to anyone visiting Sorrento—it's a fantastic place to stay!

great location, great service, great choice of menu speedily served. Lovely staff. Of course you can find faults but overall had a brilliant stay at Villa Maria and great value. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We originally booked here because it was close to the hospital, where our daughter was being treated. Just one minute away! At the base of a beautiful scenic 400m hillside, the Hotel Villa Maria has exceeded our expectations! Our room was clean and comfortable and comes with a private balcony! The hotel staff is very accommodating and the restaurant manager Luigi makes everyone feel special upon arrival! The pool is very nice and full of sunshine, and the pool bar is very reasonable. The drinks are delicious! Wonderful pool staff! Don't forget on Thursday night that you have a pool party with a DJ, which is quite entertaining! The front desk staff has been very helpful as we have needed a number of things printed and prepared for the hospital, and they have been very accommodating, and full of smiles! They speak very good English, not needed but use Google translate to help sometimes. We've had to extend our trip a couple of timesand they have been been helpful. The hotel is close to the main street of Sorrento. Just a short walk to everything this city has to offer. I think you pay a little less because you are off the main strip, and it is probably quieter too. Don't forget to go up to the sixth floor and take some pictures! You see all of Sorrento, Naples, Mount Vesuvius and all the other cities nearby. Just beautiful! In planning our return trip for next year, we will be rebooking here!
