Hotel Villa Mon Repos

The structure is aesthetically one of the most beautiful in the area, and you can reach the center of Pescasseroli on foot. Furthermore, the hotel has a large car park. As for the rooms, ours was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. I was then pleasantly surprised by the fact that Sky channels were available on the TV. Good and plentiful breakfast. Note of merit for the staff who were always kind and friendly even in giving us information on the area.

The structure looks like a lovely, very well-preserved Art Nouveau villa which is flanked by an annex of the same style, a garden and a large car park. The location is excellent since it is far enough away from the hubbub of the center of Pescasseroli while remaining in a completely urban area that allows you to reach the shops and restaurants of the center with a five-minute walk. The location is also convenient for reaching the ski lifts (at the top of the adjacent road), for visiting the small park used for the rehabilitation of fauna (right in front of the entrance to the villa) and for going to the main excursions in the area without having to cross the chaotic city center (Monte Tranquillo, Val Fondillo, Camosciara). The interiors are in line with the style of the residence, at the entrance there is a beautiful lounge and, just behind the reception, there is access to a large breakfast room divided into two rooms overlooking the garden. I found the breakfast to be of excellent quality: the pastries are very fresh and delicious while the hot drinks are freshly prepared by the staff upon request. In addition, there are spa and restaurant services which I did not use, however, as I was always out doing activities without predefined return times. In conclusion I would say that, apart from the aesthetic and picturesque side of the accommodation, the strong points of the stay were the location of the hotel, the extreme convenience of the private parking, the superlative breakfast and - last but not least - the courtesy and efficiency of the staff. Highly recommended address.

Strategic location, close to the center and, at the same time, less than two minutes from the ski lifts. The hotel staff is the plus point of the structure: Antonio (the owner) is decidedly empathetic, but Lucia (receptionist) is even more empathetic, conveying familiarity and helpfulness. Adequate breakfast with a wide choice of croissants and croissants, jams and spreads, yogurt and hot and cold drinks. Clean, elegant rooms equipped (almost all) with a working fireplace and ready-made essentials for lighting the fireplace. Unfortunately, at the time of our stay, the restaurant and spa area attached to the hotel were not operational.
