A beautiful hotel with amazing scenery! Friendly and helpful staff, very good service. Couldn't find anything not to like!
Overall beautiful hotel with a fantastic location if you’re looking for a quiet, secluded hotel experience. Location: outside the main town of Maiori, so the shuttle service was very convenient to get to and from town multiple times a day! Location is right on the ocean and our room had a balcony with the most beautiful ocean view. Rooms: here is where I feel the hotel could improve a bit to take the experience to the next level. We stayed in the junior deluxe suite, and the room felt too small for the size of the bed (king bed). The room would be better suited for a queen bed to give more space. Also, the mattress was extremely firm and pillows very flat- not a very comfortable sleeping experience. The shower and whole bathroom was good and spacious though! Amenities: the restaurant/breakfast area had a beautiful ocean view and a well-stocked complimentary breakfast with good options. The rooftop pool also had a wonderful view and was a relaxing space. The dinner service as the restaurant was also nice, though not many vegetarian options. Service: all the staff members we encountered were all very kind, attentive, and personable- Roberta, Leo, Mario, David, and all others, thank you very much! Overall, the location makes the stay worth it, though the beds could use improvement, as Maiori as a town is wonderful and more laid back than the bigger towns than the Amalfi coast, and the location right on the sea is beautiful.
Last year I stayed in the Aphrodite suite with an outdoor jacuzzi. They call it a suite, but it’s not, because it only has one room (quite large), not two separate areas as a suite should have according to the international standard. I asked several times to speak with the manager, but the staff at the reception (who are polite) always told me that the manager was out of the office and it wasn’t possible to speak with him. The manager's behavior is unacceptable — he clearly doesn't know how to do his job. The manager's behavior is unacceptable — he clearly has no idea how to do his job. Never again at Villa Pandora
