Hotel Villa Paulita

Nestled high in the mountains, this classic hotel offers a unique, secluded experience. The rooms provide comfortable, uncluttered accommodations. Incredible views of the surroundings. It is not soundproof; if you have a call in the night, your neighbor may hear you. Dining options around the hotel may be limited depending on the season, so advanced planning is recommended. Communication might require some creativity, as multilingual staff may not always be available.

We stopped here for an overnight stopover. I booked through booking.com with a good price but it ended up quite expensive. We had a little dog so I was searching hotels pet friendly and this one was, but we were charged 35€ for our dog, 20€ for parking and 15€ each person to use the pool and spa for only one hour. We had dinner in the restaurant which was only a set menu for the summer so we were disappointed overall. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly and it was a lovely location next to the lake. I didn’t have breakfast but found a lovely coffee shop 3 minutes walk away.

The lake by the hotel is very pretty as is the property itself is lovely. Most of the rooms however don't really overlook the lake, they face the street. It's a nice hotel but quite expensive for what it is, the restaurant is only open at certain times, there is no bar area or anywhere to have a drink if you wish to. You can't have a cafe or tea anywhere unless you pay 18 euros for breakfast. We had a little dog and I knew we would be charged, it was about 35 euros per night which really adds up so just something to keep in mind if you have a dog. Is ok in general clean and pretty just a bit overpriced for what it is.
