It use to be the best in the area, even now is a good option. I want to make a suggestion which can bee easy to address and cheap. The Wi-Fi connection , we are at the end of 2024, in Africa is easy to find better internet network than the VP one, and I m not talking about hotels, all of them have good connectivity. I m not talking that is slow, it drops after 5-10 min and come back after an hour.... I m sure this is also depends in which room you are, but I Ve been in few until now, the worst regarding connection is 140. Please fix this wi-fi issue ! Thanks and best regards !

Spent a month here, you can tell it`s heydays are long past this hotel. Rooms were clean, breakfast was minimal at best, the pool was more like a pond, which had not been cleaned in a long time. The hotel restaurant was only open in the evening about 3 times a week, and the choice was fish or meat. Why the 2 stars! Euro football finals day, ask reception if it was possible to watch the football with friend at the bar, the reception said `yes`, went out to eat, then came back to find they had taken the TV away from the bar, so that no one could watch the football, myself and others found this to be pathetic.

Remote location, pool area not looked after, and nothing like the photos in its presentation. Ants in bathroom. Internet basically non-existent (0.25mbs-ish) and phone data signal poor as the alternative. Even whatsapp calls drop on wither option. Parts of breakfast buffet don't get renewed once gone. Damp and dis-repair throughout. Rooms are generally well maintained, though, and of a fair size. Forget about using the lunch/evening restaurant. It's very poor and expensive even when it's open. Staff friendly and helpful though, but premises needs investment. Oh, and woken each day, 7 days a week, by the cleaner moving heavy wooden furniture on the tiled floors at 06:30. It's basically become a hotel for the Gela refinery contractors during projects.
