Absolutely amazing hotel with great service! My husband and I got married here June 1 2024 and it was beyond anything we expected. Every view is stunning and you cannot go wrong with any of the rooms. My guests had thought they were in the wrong room because every room was that nice. The food was delicious and I still think about the croissants at breakfast. Our wedding was perfect thanks to Villa sermolli. ONLY issue is parking, there is not much space for parking so if you are thinking about having a wedding here have people carpool so there are less cars. Other than that everything was great, I can’t wait to go back to celebrate an anniversary :)
We booked for an anniversary dinner and we not disappointed. We were told to text when we arrived at the bottom car park and we were promptly picked up in a large golf cart and driven the short but very steep distance to the hotel. We had booked this through a tour guide app and paid quite a lot but we were treated like royalty and the food was amazing. We had a table overlooking Montecatini and the wider Tuscan view was stunning. We were also treated to a vivid red sunset, which I can't guarantee any one else will get. Overall, a wonderful evening in a first class restaurant.
The location is great, the highlight has to be the view and the breakfast on the terrace. The food was amazing, we were lucky to have a pizza night for our last night and it was a 10/10 dinner. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The whole place was pet friendly and the staff even helped us set a vet appointment for our dog. The room was very pretty and classy but unfortunately wasn't up to the standard the price demanded on some things: • The fridges were old and didn't work very well and struggled to keep stuff cold. • We stayed in a room with two beds, one was comfortable but the other, on the "top floor" wasn't very comfortable. Also we felt like there was not enough privacy in the top bed. Some other things were good tho! The stove was great and the bathroom was also very good with high pressure showers. The private garden outside was also very nice with lots of places to sit and chill out.
