Absolutely amazing stay. Rooms are gorgeous and spotless. Service was top notch and breakfast was delicious! Would highly recommend!!
Our three nights at Hotel Villa Zaccardi were superb! We booked the suite, a modestly sized room with a great bathroom. All the standard complimentary items were there and the room was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and the view was solid. Our room was cleaned everyday, with fresh bed sheets and new towels as well. The breakfast was better than we expected with a wide variety of pastries, meats, fruits, and drinks. I particularly enjoyed the pineapple juice and the fresh lattes made by the staff. The restaurant was another highlight! We ate there once and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I loved the octopus. All standard so far… however by far the best part of our stay was the service! From when we greeted the staff to the last day, they were friendly, welcoming, and highly professional. They helped us out with everything we needed, gave good advice on local areas, and always had a smile! Special thanks to Alessandro who was a legend! Looking forward to coming back. Plus there were no bogus surcharges or any hidden fees in the price!
Everything was good but we experienced bed bugs in one of the level one rooms (103). More unfortunately, the bugs traveled back with us. Now the money we spand on bug treatment is more than the accommodation fee. Pest control is questionable there. Especially for lower level rooms.
