Cannot fault this hotel. The location is great, the hotel itself is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly want from a 5 star establishment. The staff are absolutely fantastic, they are all happy, accommodating and really cannot do enough for you. We stayed in a Villa which was amazing. The food was delicious with a vast selection for breakfast and a different buffet theme each night. Definitely recommend!

The best hotel I've never been to before – absolutely perfect from beginning to end! The lady at the reception desk was incredibly friendly, and we were even welcomed with drinks upon arrival. Our room was huge, offering plenty of space and comfort. There was lots of room in the pool, so it never felt crowded. Breakfast was delicious with a big variety of food – and yes, it even included champagne! 😳😎 The hotel itself was very quiet and peaceful – just perfect if you're looking to relax. I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars. Oh, and I almost forgot... I was surprised with a slice of birthday cake and a bottle of champagne delivered to our room – what a treat! 🎉❤️

A Beautiful Setting, But Service Falls Short of 5-Star Standards. We recently stayed at this hotel for a week and were truly impressed by the beautiful grounds and stunning views—it’s a picturesque location with great potential. However, in terms of service and overall experience, I don’t believe this property currently meets the standards of a true 5-star hotel. Firstly, while the setting was lovely, there was a clear lack of attentiveness in areas that matter—especially for guests with dietary preferences. As vegetarians, we found it difficult to have our needs met. Basic requests often felt like an inconvenience, and the food options left much to be desired. For instance, we were charged €16 for a vegetarian “club sandwich” which essentially was the regular sandwich with the meat removed—resulting in a greasy fried sandwich with just lettuce and cheese. Not only was it underwhelming, but when staff noticed the food was barely touched and even asked about it, there was no effort made to offer an alternative or adjust the bill. It’s not about the cost, but the principle: a dish lacking half its ingredients should not be charged at full price, especially without any added value. Additionally, we were surprised to find that bottled water was not replenished daily and came at an extra charge, despite already spending €1,300 for a week’s stay. For a hotel positioned as luxury, these small things can make a big difference to the guest experience. The housekeeping was also below par for a hotel of this standard. The room was often left dusty, and basic amenities like shower caps and toiletries weren’t replaced daily. While these might seem like minor details, they matter when a hotel is claiming 5-star status. Breakfast was also disappointing. While there was variety, the selection remained the same every day. The quality didn’t match expectations either—the omelettes were bland, and the churros, which I usually look forward to, were cold and chewy rather than hot and crispy. Finally, service on departure was similarly lacklustre. There was no initiative from the staff to assist with luggage until we specifically requested it at reception, which again, doesn’t align with what you’d expect from a hotel in this category. In short, while the hotel shines in terms of aesthetics, the service and attention to guest experience need significant improvement. Having stayed at top-tier properties around the world, including the One&Only hotels, the difference in service is notable. With more attention to detail and a stronger hospitality mindset, this hotel has the potential to reach a true 5-star standard—but it’s not there yet.
