Hotel Violeta

Good location and good size rooms. The best thing about the hotel were staff.. everyone from cleaning lady to restaurant staff were friendly and done an amazing job. By the way restaurant food was good as well. The only downside is the small spa area, but there are plenty spa places around, so it was not a big issue

We really enjoyed the first night in the hotel and so we decided to stay another night! We went to the swimming pools and sauna both days and were very surprised about the quality of the facilities

Stayed here for one night with my wife. At the arrival, although booking time is 15:00 hours, we were allowed to book in at 12:00 hours. The room was not large. However, it was clean, tidy and seemed like it had a recent refurbishment. The bed, most importantly, was very comfortable we slept like babies. I must add; the room had a best view - the Nemunas river. The room bar, unlike other hotels we visited, was free of charge, the coffee, bottled water and tea. OK, let's go to the dinner and the bar. We ordered an octopus dish. However, our charming waitress and a barmaid (named Jolanta) told us not to bother with it as it wasn't worth the money and offered to order a squid dish instead. Our best regards to the chef and Jolanta, the food was delicious and it was proportionate to the price. Thank you, Chef and Jolanta, for making it happen! I just would like to advise the establishment. Please ensure that the variety of cocktails the establishment offers is increased; simple Jager bombs we're not available when requested, but this was a minor issue. In the morning; the breakfast selection was great, food was fresh and well served. In conclusion - we for sure will stay here again and will advise our friends to do so. What a reception, service and the comfort! Oh yeah, I forgot. P.S My wife just told me to say a massive thank you to the chef for making pancakes, for breakfast, staffed with the curd, apples, and spices. Thank you Violeta's Management and the staff. We will see you soon.
