Hotel Vis à Vis

The hotel was incredible. Amazing location and stunning views. The pool was excellent. We were even served fruit while enjoying. The staff is excellent. The breakfast fantastic and the time and location was a perfect home base for enjoying the beach, a boat ride in Cinque Terra and local shopping and dining. The family room was a little quaint but there are lots of room types to choose from so take your time. This property is a true gem owned and operated by a family that values experience and high quality. We will be back!

We stayed for one week in a junior suite with two small children. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely rooms and a stunning view. We especially enjoyed the children’s pool and the well-kept outdoor areas. Breakfast was excellent, and the food and drinks overall were of good quality. However, we struggled to find child-friendly lunch options, especially due to our child’s nap schedule. At Deck Zeus Sky Bar, only the snack menu was available during that time, and the staff always seemed stressed. On one occasion, they acted unprofessionally, pushing each other and arguing over table settings. A children’s menu on the room service menu would have made things easier. Most of the staff were friendly, and the housekeeping team was especially thoughtful, cleaning around nap times. For families with small children, having a proper terrace would be a big plus, as evenings are often spent in the room after the kids go to bed. A great hotel overall, with room for a few family-friendly improvements.

Stunning location! Excellent breakfast service by Lara and the restaurant manager. Front desk staff very nice and friendly. Room was a little small but very nice. Lunch and late night service could be better but overall we loved it!
