Hotel Viscardo

Location is perfect, at 3 minutes walk to shopping area and restaurants. Hotel is next to all beaches and bagno. Stuff are very nice and friendly. Nice apperetivo in the garden.

Clean comfortable hotel in a convenient location, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Very good value, especially off-season ( I was there twice in October).

The hotel’s location was absolutely perfect — close to everything we needed and ideal for exploring the area. The breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. A special mention goes to the young male receptionist who checked us in — he was very kind and helpful, which gave us a great first impression. However, the experience at reception was inconsistent. The following morning, a female receptionist informed us that we were checked into the wrong rooms but then added, “never mind.” This was confusing — if it wasn’t an issue, why bring it up at all? Check-out was unfortunately worse. The receptionist named IURI was rude and unhelpful, which left us with a sour ending to our stay. We had booked two rooms. One was quiet and comfortable, just what we expected. However, the second room was disappointing — it had a connecting door, and the neighboring guests had children who were screaming and running up and down the hallway all day. The noise level made it very difficult to relax or rest. Overall, while the hotel had a lot of potential and some great staff, the inconsistent service and noise issues made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been. Would I return? Possibly, but I would request a quiet room with no connecting door and hope for better front desk service.
