Specifically about the restaurant: they reduced the menu greatly. No chicken options anymore, for instance. Only seafood and steak. Most everything was ok but the seafood chowder? THAT was to die for. I may just get two servings of it next time.
We loved staying at this hotel i stayed two occasion, i tried to stay the third time but i was given a high price, after that i just went to Tikal futura which was way cheaper.
The service was horrible. Our order took quite a long time and to make matters worse, not all our plates and sides were brought out the same time. To get our checks, it took approximately 30 minutes. As for my food. A Lomito cooked 3/4 was not good at all. Some of the steak was rare'ish and extremely rubbery and cutting it with my knife proved to be a challenge. Nice place but food and service was not good at all.
