Hotel Vital

Quite cheap for what it offers. Nice wellness, wasn't too crowded even when the hotel was mostly full. The staff are friendly. You can only eat what's on the daily menu, which we didn't get notified about, and were expecting to order whatever from the restaurant, not eat the daily menu. The food tasted good.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Vital Hotel, but there are a few areas that could be improved. What we liked: The location is beautiful, surrounded by a lake and a landscaped forest area. Dinner was very good, and we especially appreciated the goulash. Breakfast was rich and varied – we really enjoyed it. The room was clean and well equipped – we appreciated the tissues provided. What could be improved: The very early checkout time (10:00 AM) creates unnecessary pressure both for guests and staff. At checkout, there was a line of about 15 people and only one receptionist, which led to a 20-minute wait. A more gradual checkout process might help. Just a thought. The room smelled faintly of smoke, as if someone had smoked in it before. The bed was not very comfortable – there was a noticeable dip in the mattress, and I had the feeling I might fall out of bed during the night. With a few adjustments, this hotel could offer a truly excellent experience.

It is not a 4 star hotel as advertised. 1. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful but not many options for non pork eaters. The semolina pudding was my favorite breakfast item. Cheap teas like tesco quality served. 2. Wellness area is relatively small and it can get uncomfortable when there are a lot of guests. The cooling off pool outside the sauna was dirty. Towels not replenished fast enough. 3. Staff was friendly and helpful. 4. No packed toiletteries given like a 4 star should. Just cheap shower gel in a dispenser. 5. There is a pool table at the reception for entertainment. 6. They played 80's/90's music throughout showing the demographic they cater for. 7. Avoid the massage at all cost!
