What an unforgettable experience! We chose Voila for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel is modern, spotless, and beautifully designed—from the stunning lobby to the scenic rooftop. Our room was spacious and immaculate, and we especially loved the location—everything was within walking distance. We were given the option of a balcony or interior room, and we’re so glad we chose the balcony—it made the stay even more special. And the breakfast? Absolutely delicious! The staff was exceptional throughout our stay, making us feel truly welcomed. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Voila Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. Every detail—from the plush bedding to the luxurious amenities—made me feel pampered. Do not stay here. All the reviews must be fake. 1. They have a rooftop that plays music until 2-3 a.m. The doors and windows are not soundproof, so be prepared to only go to bed once the music stops. 2. They make you pay taxes if you don’t have a recent stamp on your passport upon arrival. I showed my green card and proof that I don’t live here, but they didn’t care. I have been to Cartagena probably 50 times and stayed in different hotels each time, and this has never happened to me. To make you pay, they will tell you that you can get a tax refund at the airport. However, once you arrive at the airport, they will not give it to you without the proper forms. 3. I have a very special diet because I was recovering from a medical procedure. I had food prepared for me that I needed to warm up, but they refused. I was left hungry the whole day. Why not just let me warm it myself in the microwave? This could easily be resolved by having guests sign a waiver of liability. Some positives to acknowledge: the staff are very kind and warm, and they help when they can, the rooms are clean, and the air conditioning works great. However, the way the hotel is managed and the restrictions make for a poor overall experience.
