Hotel Vécsecity

Beautiful fully reconstructed hotel with nice rooms. Lots of places to relax, and enjoy the holiday. Surrounded by a nice park with locations to sport and children and relax. I also enjoyed meals and saunas and walks through beautifully decorated halls.

Location is fine, quite close to Košice far enough to feel like abroad. Hotel is nicely renovated - built, full of attractions with a nice outside pool which is unfortunately really small... (similarly wellness). Rooms are big, clean and comfortable, but I think a bit overpriced. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel are perfect, but when you come just for lunch or "a la carte" dinner you can be dissatisfied - probably they prefer hotel clients or private events (weddings, company teambuildings). Some dishes are very good some average and some poor. Service is OK, hotel at such level must be perfect every time not just sometimes. From overall point of view its a good place to spend time with family. Try it!

The bar gave us drinks without alcohol. We ordered Aperol spritz,gin tonic and mochito. We got mineral water,sirup and tonic instead!!! We asked for alcohol and he gave us back the same drink!!! The hotel is okay but the bar was horrible! The girl who making drinks even asked the the waiter how to prepare them! (She thought we dont understand.)
