An old and original hotel close to the sea and city centre. Great decorations, feels authentic inside
It’s a nice hotel in Stavern. They also offer a fantastic buffet every Sunday, except on some special holidays. It costs kr.395 per person with one drink of your choice. It’s worth it. Some seafood, fish, meat, salads, desserts and coffee or tea. Delicious food and nice service.
Is this a fully 4 star hotel as advertised? Yes indeed! Is it worth a visit? Absolutely. So why not 5 stars on Google? Well, that depends on what you expect. The hotel is quite clean, the staff is very friendly and the food in the restaurant is way above anything to expect. In fact, the restaurant is worth a visit alone. It's the small things that just doesn't make it to the top. Like the sewage ventilation right next to the entrance, flat pillows on the bed and non working minibar. But all in all, it's a great hotel and it's definitely not my last visit here. Highly recommended!
