A true oasis of peace and beauty in Sylt – an unforgettable experience I had the pleasure of staying at the Watthof Hotel Sylt for four days, and I can only describe it as an extraordinary experience in every way. The hotel is surrounded by nature, nestled between the sea and tranquility, and immediately conveys a deep sense of well-being. The building is eco-friendly, meticulously maintained, tastefully and elegantly furnished, spotlessly clean, and incredibly welcoming. Every space exudes harmony and thoughtful attention to detail. The rooms are bright, quiet, and decorated in a refined yet understated style that invites relaxation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view of the surrounding landscape made the stay even more special. The staff are kind, professional, and always available. A special thank you goes to Mr. Uwe, Mrs. Uli, and their daughter Kim—people of rare courtesy and sensitivity, who run the Watthof with passion and impeccable professionalism. It’s clear they put their heart into what they do, and that truly makes a difference. Breakfast was simply delicious: fresh, local products with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, served in a bright room overlooking the peaceful landscape. If you're looking to relax completely, I highly recommend the spa: small but beautifully designed, with a sauna and treatments that rejuvenate both body and mind. The surrounding area is also worth exploring: long walks along the beach, sunsets over the North Sea, bike rides, and the unmistakable charm of Sylt all make every day a pleasure. I would recommend staying here at least once in your life—not just for the hotel itself, but for everything that surrounds it. Nature, the sea, genuine hospitality, and authentic human warmth. The Watthof is a wonderful, small, family-run hotel in a fantastic location. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The breakfast is at least worthy of a five-star rating. We felt completely at home... We'll definitely be back...
