We had a lovely stay at this hotel probably the best part was the hotel staff who just couldn’t do enough for you. We ended up in Bruges unable to get a taxi and the exceptionally kind receptionist came , in his own car , and picked myself and my family up, you just can’t get service like that these days so grateful and could not speak more highly of him.
The location is an issue as it's 5 KM in to nowhere no public transport unless your in own car and a quaint place.
I read the reviews and it is as if their represent a totally different hotel than where I have been. First of all the rooms - they were clean and at some point the furniture was good. Now it looked beaten. The towels were shabby, gray and threads hanged from one of them. The lady who served us at the restaurant was very friendly and pleasant but at the reception we were asked to pay everything in advance which is not very hospitable. The bed was good, but I kept hearing people talking. And the breakfast- 25 euro to eat bacon with part of the packaging still there, no vegetables of any sort. Totally unimpressive unlike the price. I do not recommend this place.
