Hotel Wende

Absolutely AMAZING hotel. The staff were so welcoming & professionally. This is a family run hotel and probably the best of the best. Easy access to the lake which is just a short walk. The rooms are fantastic. Food in the restaurant is amazing too. I highly recommend and can’t wait to come back. 10/10 👍🏼

I stayed with my family at this hotel for two nights and we were amazed at what a joke this hotel is. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with a very negative atmosphere. When my wife went to check the room, the lady at the reception made the decision to change our room to a smaller one (she had explained that we were not the right number of people). However, what disappointed us the most was not the room but the food, having two children it wasn't really a pleasant experience, and neither I nor my wife were satisfied with the food there!😡

Me and my colleagues stayed here for one night, because our flight was cancelled. The hotel was provided by Austrian airlines. When we arrived around 8-8:30pm they finished with dinner and we had to go search for food in the area(almost everything was closed). In the morning we had to catch the bus for the airport really early.They knew about the buses. We were around 15 mins earlier for breakfast, but we saw everything is ready and the door was open. Then a guy came to us to tell us to leave. We tried to explain, but he didn’t care and we just left our dishes. This happened a year ago. I was thinking is not worth it to write a review, since I didn’t even choose the hotel. But as a person who read reviews, I can’t recommend this one. It may happen something unexpected as early leaving and you will stay hungry, because they need to stick to their schedule until the last minute.
