Hotel West End Nice Promenade

Stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends. Really friendly staff, great location opposite the beach and a short walk to the town/markets. Rooms are fine for the weekend. We had a double and a triple. Air con in the double wasn't great. Much better in the triple. Decor is a little dated and nothing worth not returning/recommended. The breakfast is phenomenal! Loved the member of staff said if there was anything we wanted that wasn't there to ask... everything was there and delicious

We stayed at this hotel for a week. Clean rooms, fresh towels each day and fresh bedding. Staff very informative and friendly. Upon arrival the reception staff took time to show us a map of the area and places of interest to visit. Pool table and free tea and coffee between certain times of the day in the reception area so if your leaving your room at 12 noon and your flight isn't till later you have access to the drinks, shower area and they will store your suitcases. The air conditioning is lovely in the rooms and isn't noisy unless you have it on max speed which you don't need too as it's adequate on low level. The only issue is the windows do open but don't stay open as the tend to close too they don't have a catch and it's rather noisy with it open but didn't need it open. The hotel is situated opposite the beach just a road dividing it. You will need to hire sun beds as the beach isn't sand but stones and very painful on bare feet even when you get into the sea the bottom is stones and painful. The sun beds are 30 euros each 😮 but you get a towel, umbrella and waiter service for the day, bit expensive but good to try once. Never tried the hotel for breakfast but evening cocktails and desserts were very good quality.

We recently stayed here hoping for a relaxing time by the beach with my fiancé and my mom. While the location and breakfast were truly beautiful and the beachfront view is undeniably the highlight, our experience left a lot to be desired. Especially when it came to basic comfort and safety. Unfortunately, the lock on our room door didn’t work properly, which made us uneasy. We had to change rooms just so my mom could feel safe (meaning we didn’t get new rooms. My mom switch rooms with my fiancé and I). Not exactly the peace of mind you expect on vacation. The new room wasn’t much better: it lacked soundproofing, the air conditioning was very weak, and there were visible stains around the bathroom sink. Even trying to watch TV was a challenge: the nextflix didn’t work, and it said something about it not connecting to a network. There were major cracks on the ground. The balcony was dirty, with spiders, and not cleaned for the duration of our time staying there. Too many bugs to open the window. This place has potential. The beach is right there, and the breakfast was excellent. But safety, and cleanliness, especially when you’re paying for more than just the view. I truly hope management sees this feedback as a chance to raise the standard and deliver the kind of experience the location deserves.
