Hotel & Wirtshaus Post

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. It is right in the heart of Sankt Johann and only a short walk from the main lift. The rooms are delightful and clean. We stayed in February, sorry about this late review but I was unfortunate to break my leg badly. The staff were very supportive and went out of their way to make me comfortable while I waited for a transfer home for surgery. A special commendation for Yasmin (Jasmin?) at reception who went above and beyond for us

The food here is fantastic, the beer is pretty good too. I haven’t seen the rooms but the communal areas downstairs suggest it is a great hotel.

This is the best hotel in the village, and among the best in the immediate area. Regarding value for money, probably the best in a more extended area including Kirchberg and Kitzbuhel. Breakfast is great, the restaurant is very good, the rooms are well appointed and some room categories are pretty spacious. The spa area is also very nice. Hotel staff are very professional and for the most part helpful. The ski equipment area is clean and large. Disliked · Since we're repeat customers, I couldn't help but notice a couple of differences (for the worse) from last year. We were given a worse room than last year even though we booked in the same category (no balcony this year). The Christmas eve dinner, which is complimentary (a nice offering by the hotel) was markedly worse than last year. And there is always very little flexibility with late check out. Finally, I understand this is a relatively small hotel, and that is part of its charm, but offering zero help with luggage is a bit problematic. Even locating the luggage trolley can be a challenge (staff helps with that).
