Lovely hotel and building. Stayed for one night as a rest stop from a long car drive. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Our dog was allowed within the hotel, just not the restaurant area but allowed in the terrace. Not too many dinner options on the menu but very lovely and in good quantity. The area is beautiful to rewind.

I've visited this hotel with my husband more than five times, and it remains a favorite for several reasons. While the standard of the rooms may not quite match the level of other 4-star hotels I've stayed in, the spaciousness of the rooms and large balconies—especially those with a lake view—are definite highlights. One of my personal favorites is the bathroom, which features floor heating (a lovely touch) and a bidet. The addition of a bathrobe in the room is appreciated, though I do feel the absence of slippers and a standard amenity kit (such as a shower cap or cotton pads) is a bit of a letdown for a hotel of this caliber. On the plus side, the location is truly amazing and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Overall, it’s a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The Wellness Spa section is definitely one of my favorite features. The steam sauna is spacious and can easily accommodate multiple guests. However, I can't speak to the other amenities, such as the swimming pool, jacuzzi, or the two additional saunas, as I didn't have the chance to try them. I did, however, enjoy a massage during my stay. It was quite nice and offered a peaceful atmosphere, free from distractions. Although it's a bit on the expensive side for what I consider a partial massage (not a full body), I would still recommend it for a relaxing experience. As for the breakfast, in my opinion, it’s fairly standard—nothing particularly special. The food at the restaurant is also pricey, and while it does the job of filling you up, it doesn't quite meet my taste. It’s more of a meal to satisfy hunger than something I’d describe as delicious. As for the staff, I can confidently say they are always friendly and welcoming. They are consistently happy to accommodate any requests we have, even through email, which I truly appreciate. One area I hope they can improve is the breakfast buffet, as well as the opening hours of the Wellness Spa section. These adjustments would certainly enhance the overall experience.

Simply horrible Probably one of the worst hotel I ever was To be avoided at any price I really can’t understand how it could be well assessed by some users, probably no real clients but employees or owner General concept seems to be to get as much money as possible from German tourists Maybe 4 stars in the 90’s when it was last refreshed, definitely no more than 2 stars now Old « communist-period » style, average clean, poor service Restaurant supposed to be open until 21:30. I went there at 19:30 and was asked - very seriously and quite agressively - why I want too eat so late (?…), kitchen closed 1 minute ago, so I can either drink something (no chips, peanuts, bread, chocolate bar or whatever else to eat available) or wait until breakfast Hotel is in the middle of nowhere, not possible to go and have a diner close by, I then had to wait until morning To be fully honest, lady from reception desk called after some time to say that kitchen finally accepts to reheat „flaki” (guts soup). Looking to the restaurant, I was not so sure how old it was and considered safer to decline I wanted to leave earlier but it’s also not possible to have breakfast before 07:00 Breakfast average, old german style (mostly sausage and paste) Rooms noisy - quite surprising considering there was quite no customer in the hotel Equipment in the room broken, old or unusable (fridge might be the only equipment less than 20 years old… but empty and unplugged) I also had to fight shieldbug in the room (in November) during the night Beds only 80 cms large Only sparkling water available in the room A small piece of cheap carton (plastic ?) is given together with the room key to be exchanged for a towel at the « spa » : don’t lose it or you will be charged 100 PLN if you don’t give it back at check-out (seriously) Shower (too) hot but leaking Positive elements : room was warm and view on the lake nearby I could go on for long, but I finally have only one advice : Run away from this place !
