Hotel Xolotlán Hostel

The quality of the hotel was awesome, the staff was very friendly. Being from the United States I was nervous about the safety but it was no where near a concern. Felt safe 100% of the time. The restaurant has great food with a unique touch to the lobby. Highly recommended staying here.

Everything seemed fine until 3 days later they cancelled our reservation when we had already paid for almost 2 weeks. The service is bad, food, loud music and the staff doesn't care they only seemed to care about collecting money. They don't have any respect for anyone. They could do better for tourist. Too bad because Nicaragua is a beautiful country. Not impressed by their fake reviews.

I would not reccomend this place to anyone if they value being in a clean, quiet place, they play loud music from 8am till 11pm and do not care if you are trying to sleep, had to ask twice for my breakfast and took them a whole hour, I booked 2 nights but end up staying only 1. If you dont care about a clean place , quiet or good service, a night is enough, the place looks nothing like the pictures, kind of a scam.
