I visited just the restaurant. Great atmosphere. Restaurant and hotel in a chateau. The staff was really friendly and the food was excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you're driving through the town!

Let me start with pros. The swimming pool is long enough, unless you want to crawl. The sauna is nice, it's dimly lit, quite and available until late evening. We only ate once in the restaurant because we prefer vegetarian food and they offer nothing of that sort, maybe a salad. Nevertheless, the meal was really good. Breakfasts were pretty standard. We've ordered what Booking claimed was a ground floor room but were given keys to a room on the 2nd floor, with no elevator. The hotel staff was nice and helpful and gave us a wheelchair accessible room. Unfortunately, the room was not very clean (including bugs, probably isopods) and the mattresses were in a bad shape. There were no slippers and the floor was rather cold. The most disappointing part of our stay was the wellness. We specifically picked this hotel because they offer procedures which are safe for pregnant women, such as cosmetics. In an email response, we were told to order procedures after arrival. When we arrived, we were told to order them a day ahead to make sure the masseuses can come to the hotel. When we came to order a massage the next day, we were told the masseuses' schedule is full, booked some time ago by regular guests who know they should order procedures ahead of the stay. WTH?? In that case we wanted to leave a day earlier but they refused to deal with it, referring to the fact we ordered via Booking and there's nothing they can do. Eventually, the masseuses stayed overtime for us. My recommendation is don't go there. If you do, be a German, carnivore, order everything ahead and cut the middleman like Booking.
