Hotel Zenit Convento San Martín

We stayed here for 2 nights in June. The hotel is beautifully finished and well located to explore the city. Beds are super comfortable and the rooms are spacious by euro standards. Staff are friendly and discreet. The bar downstairs serves excellent cocktails. We didn’t eat breakfast as I thought €25 was steep and the city has so much to offer on the food scene. I agree with the other reviews that the views from the rooms aren’t anything to look at but it’s what you get in a city! Id def come back.

What an amazing hotel! FIrst of all fantastic parking facilities! The reception area which has retained the old convent design is beautiful. The hotel is beautifully decorated and so clean. Our room was bright and vibrant with top quality decor and facilities, especially the bathroom! The rooftop pool and sun level is a really nice extra after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was the best I have ever had, with so much to choose from. Finally the staff especially Sarah on reception, are brilliant and so friendly. Sarah suggested where to eat pintxos and also booked out restaurants for each evening which were excellent. Would I stay here again, YES without a shadow of doubt!

We stayed at Hotel Zenit Convento San Martín last weekend and had a great experience! We had a triple room on the third floor — it was huge, super clean, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, like true 5-star quality. The view was just of the backyard, so not very exciting, but everything else made up for it. The staff were always kind and helpful, which really added to the experience. We had breakfast every morning and it was excellent — lots of variety with fresh pastries, breads, natural juices, eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, yogurts… everything was tasty and well presented. The breakfast team was also really attentive and always ready to help. All in all, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend — just try to ask for a room with a better view if that matters to you!
