I was convinced by an awesome friend to look into Hotel Zero Degrees when visiting Danbury. Well, she was not wrong! I was so pleased with my recent stay. Everything about the hotel was perfect. The room was extremely nice and spacious. The room had a gigantic shower! The restaurant Terra was enjoyable and quite delicious. I will absolutely be coming back for another stay, but I hope for two nights.

This is a really nice hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the grounds and facilities are top notch. There’s a nice outdoor lounging area where you can request the fire pit to be started up. The restaurant was excellent albeit a tad on the expensive side (the great food made it worth it though). The free breakfast I think needs to be improved though. There is really very little to rave about here although they did have some gluten free options which in my family are as necessity. My only downgrade here would be that we had a three o clock check in and our room wasn’t ready until 4:20. Their reason was that they were running behind a little. That left me wondering. There’s no excuse for a room check in being over an hour late. No compensation was offered. That incident kept this from being a five star review.

It was a hotel off the beaten path. Staff members were friendly, they definitely cater to events. If you are staying overnight and not with a group I would suggest calling ahead and speaking with a manager to get a quiet area of the hotel. They were very accommodating to move us to another floor.
