Hotel zum Postillion

Really very well located hotel, with a beautiful view! Although we could only book a room on the street, we luckily still got a room with a beautiful view of the mountains! The room was spacious and had a large balcony. The staff was always very friendly, open and gave us good tips! Due to the Corona-related hygiene guidelines, there was no breakfast buffet. But that wasn't a tragedy because we were able to choose all the extras every morning - in addition to the breakfast we had already set. :) Highly recommended for a hiking holiday, be out and about during the day and visit one of the numerous restaurants within walking distance in town in the evening!

We arrived and the reception was unmanned, but there were envelopes taped to the door frame for us and other guests. We were told our room number and that further information was available for us in the room. The room was functional, but with a large balcony and table and chairs. Overall, an outdated hotel in need of urgent renovation. The WiFi was terrible or non-existent! The breakfast was manageable and nothing special. The only positive thing about breakfast was the service. The reception, when staffed, was very nice and helpful. Only partially suitable for cyclists as there is no storage room for the bikes.

More of a bed&breakfast than hotel although prices are like the local 4/5 star hotels. Not renovated for decades, rooms very small. Sauna only sometimes switched on, steam room not at all. Breakfast buffet very limited and nothing for vegans - when asked for some healthy fresh veg or fruit, answer from manager was negative with no attempt to get anything sorted.
