Hotel Zum Ritter St. Georg

Lovely location and historical building with nice, clean rooms! The staff were all super kind and helpful and the rooms were great despite not having ac, windows open and the provided fan was more than enough! Parking is offsite and the front door is only accessible by car early in the morning, before the rush of people that make driving impossible. All in all, a very nice spot in Heidelberg!

Fantastic historical hotel in the heart of Heidelberg's old town. The front desk staff was courteous and very welcoming. I arrived early and was immediately greeted, and my bag was taken for storage. The gentleman was nice to let me borrow his charger to charge my phone for a few minutes. The rooms have a red carpet that is very well maintained. Despite not having air conditioning, it was cool inside the room, with the windows open. I ate the breakfast buffet, which was great and worth the 13 euro price. I highly recommend this hotel and stay here again.

The location is amazing - far and away the best part of staying here. The river is right there. Any food drink or shopping you could want is within feet of the front door. The building is likewise very interesting. My room (economy) was fairly clean, and everything worked as advertised. It was HOT on floor 2, though. A fan was provided, which helped a bit. The service was fine. Had a minor negative introduction, but they were attentive afterward and helpful when asked.
