We had a great stay, spacious and clean rooms. Excellent restaurant with outstanding fish specialties. I really recommend the place.

Excellent fish restaurant, beautiful surrounding and perfect service. Their small salads that come with most dishes are amazing. Never had a better potato salad. Fish is always excellent. We eat here very regularly and have never been disappointed.

We had high expectation about this hotel, we do not often go to 4 star hotels in Western Europe and I must say we were a bit disappointed. Let's sum up the positives and negatives from our point of view: Hotel and Restaurant should be considered as 2 different companies - from my point of view you can't judge the hotel when you were only there for diner. We did both. Our room was tidy on the 2nd floor but next to a railroad and above the Kitchen of the restaurant, no airco in the room so the windows had to be open. When we entered the room we smelled the fries and fish from the kitchen below. The hotel was very clean. Lobby is at the bar of the restaurant. Main disappointment for us was that there wasn't a bar for a drink in the evening, The restaurant was open in the evening only when reserved, for eating and for the reserved time slot only. For people who smoke the hotel was locked and at the parking lot pitch black after 22:30 (you key of the room could however unlock the outside door. Breakfast was fine Dinner at the restaurant - overall we had a nice evening, for our budget it was little bit too expensive - furthermore we had the bad luck that there were groups of local people there for an anniversary who found it suitable to make quite some noise celebrating and even face timing on their smart phone.
