Hotel Ángel Inn

After driving around trying to find a hotel for myself, my wife and our dog, the Angel Inn at first were not going to book us because of our dog (over the weight limit)... but the manager was willing to meet our dog and here we are! Beautiful hotel, GREAT service and a wonderful restaurant/bar upstairs. Great to have a place willing to bend the rules to help a customer. Stayed 4 nights. Small pool but suits the hotel. No hesitation staying here again!

Very disappointed with their service. I booked a room for my parents one month in advance to make sure all was sorted in time. We arrived in the morning to drop our bags before checking-in later to, again, make sure everything was in order. They ensured us the room would be ready upon our return. Not only was the room not ready but they downgraded what we paid for. Their attitude was unprofessional and rude using excuses like "there was a change in shifts 🤷" or "it is Guelaguetza season". They promised a refund to compensate for the downgrade but using the same excuses, they didn't do anything.

Overall a decent hotel, clean rooms and relatively quiet atmosphere. However, I was very disappointed with the service from the hotel. I stayed for 3 nights and booked my accommodation thru Hotels.com, specifically selecting the only available “pet friendly” room. The reservation stated that ALL taxes and fees were included in the final price. Upon checkout, the hotel charged me $1,200 in “pet fees” which I found to be very misleading. If there were additional fees those should have been made clear up front, prior to me booking and paying for a non-refundable reservation. Secondly, the hotel should have informed me of this at check in, not at checkout after I had stayed there for three nights. Finally, the hotel manager could have waived this fee based on the circumstances and the fact it was not disclosed up front, but they refused to do so. I would not recommend this hotel to those traveling with pets, very disappointing experience.
