Hotel Čechie Praha

The fancier part of the hotel was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The less fancy side was not well cleaned. Stayed here twice in a week. Price was pretty good. Good location, 7 minute walk from the metro. They allowed us to store suitcase in a locked closet while we left for a weekend trip. Did not use the sports facilities, so cannot comment on them.

This definitely is not a 4 star hotel. I would rather say 2,5. Yes, there is AC, breakfast included, but that is all. Breakfast is always the same, scrambled egg tastes weird, fruit jam is horribly sweet, sausages.. I would rather not touch that. The room itself - pretty spacious, no hot water kettle, double bed is made of two mattresses. Bathroom does remember 80s, broken tiles, mold in the bath tube.. not really a high quality place. All in all the location is rather quiet, 15-20 minutes (metro) to the city center, not that expensive. I wouldn't choose it again if I saw real pictures but for one night it is not that bad.

This hotel has all the basic facilities that a visitor requires for comfortable overnight needs, but not the extras like a coffee make or water boiler in the room. Breakfast is also basics, but the coffee is good. The room is clean. The location is just 5-6 minutes from the subway.
