Hotel České Švýcarsko

Lovely stay, great location for the area. A lot of the stuff are within walking distance (not a very short one, but still manageable). They also have free parking in the location for the guests. This is also a perfect location for visiting the German part of the park as it's very close to the road. The staff are lovely, not all of them speak English, but you'll fine someone who does most of the time. The food is also good, however be mindful of the hours, the kitchen hours in the whole area are shorter than expected, and they all tend to close at the same time or within only a 1h difference.

Comfortable rooms, modern bathrooms, good value. The hotel, including a restaurant, is situated in a small hilltop village approx. 15 mins away from the German border. Free parking available, few other restaurants within walking distance. Popular sights of Bohemian Switzerland are in proximity. Breakfast (extra) recommended. Payments are also accepted in EUR (fair exchange rates offered)

Hotel staff service is incompetent and their lack of language skills leads to problems. Forget any kind of advice, they've got no knowledge of surroundings. The rooms are good. The food is okay at best, it lacks basic seasoning or spices, small portions and that's only when you look the other way from all the dead flies trapped in their ceiling lights. We woke up to the news that they've mistaken our reservation request and we don't have a place to stay for another night and had to lose time during our holiday to look for alternatives and move. In total how this hotel has 4 stars is beyond me. At best it would be rated 3. Never coming back.
