An Unforgettable Experience at Hotelito Azul We just returned from a week-long stay at Hotelito Azul in Tulum, and we can honestly say it was one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. What truly set this hotel apart was the incredible staff. From the front desk to housekeeping, the restaurant teams, and even security—every single person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. It felt more like staying with family than being a guest at a hotel. Hotelito Azul is not your typical party hotel; it's a serene, beautiful spot that invites you to connect with nature and unwind. Whether you choose a jungle room or an oceanfront one, you're in for something special. We had an ocean-view room, and waking up to the sound of the waves each morning with our freshly delivered coffee was pure magic. Both on-site restaurants served fresh, flavorful dishes. We nearly worked our way through the entire menu at Agave and loved every bite. The fresh juices were especially memorable—each one was better than the last. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, allowing you to explore either along the sand or the main road, which is lined with boutiques and eateries. We were lucky enough to visit during turtle nesting season and even saw a few swimming just offshore—an unforgettable moment. Tulum town is a short ride away, and the hotel also makes it easy to explore local gems like the cenotes and Jaguar Park. We can’t recommend Hotelito Azul highly enough. If you're looking for a peaceful, meaningful getaway with exceptional service and natural beauty, this is the place.

I just spent 5 days at Hotelito Azul with close friends, and we had the most wonderful time! The grounds are incredibly beautiful and thoughtfully designed, and the small size of the hotel means that every room is just steps from one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. I saw several incredible sunrises over the ocean from the hotel's beachfront, and the rooftop area offered a great view of the sunset over the jungle. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was easy to communicate with them via Whatsapp whenever we needed something. Griselda in housekeeping did such an amazing job keeping our rooms clean, which is no small feat for a beachfront property and all the sand that comes with it. We also really appreciated her towel folding artistry, which was a fun surprise to come back to each day. PROS: - Great location - Beautiful grounds - Clean beachfront - Helpful & responsive staff - Comfortable & large beds - Nice shower - Morning coffee delivery - Delicious breakfast at Olivia CONS: - Rooms had no dressers or drawers to store clothing/belongings. - Bathroom lighting was pretty dark, which made it less than ideal for shaving or applying makeup. - Music was a little "party-forward" for my taste - we would have preferred music that was a little more laid-back and relaxing (at least during the daytime). We did eventually come to find this quirky and kind of charming, though. Overall, we had a magical experience in Tulum, and our choice to stay at Hotelito Azul was a significant part of that. I can't wait to come back!

What an amazing stay we had at Hotelito Azul! Thank you to the amazing staff and all the accommodations provided all in house. Agave’ restaurant was incredible we ate there 3 times during our 1 week stay. The property sits right on the beach in Tulum, incredible view and vibes. This quant, quiet hotel was perfect for us to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. If you are looking for more of an intimate, relaxing, get away, this is your spot!
