Great food and drinks. Took the wine and food tasting menus. Well worth it. We go here everytime we are in Skellefteå as it's always a sure thing.

Only stayed one night - in extremely warm July of 2018 - and it was a very pleasant experience, partly because we were lucky to get a room on the shade side I believe! Neat and clean, a very comfy bed, friendly and service minded staff. The surroundings are lush and quiet and the distinct feeling of the days long gone still lingers also in the (otherwise fully modern) hotel part. There is a hostel annex as well that looked neat from the outside at least. Breakfast is served in the manor like main building and you can also sit outdoors or choose the beautiful porch. Good breakfast but I skipped the eggs; it didn't say if they were hard boiled or not (turned out to be the former). The so called scrambled eggs didn't look that delicious so I skipped them, too. The rest - especially meats and the salmon creme! - was super delicious. Coffee was normal Swedish hotel standard but I prefer my coffee really strong :) Note 1: breakfast is only served between eight and ten summertime Note 2: there is a connection to the Swedish church but the business is run independently

Favorite hotel in Skellefteå. It's a little walk from town. It's just a room. But so is everything else. Just a nice area and an enjoyable walk.
