Hotelpark der Westerwald Treff

I needed a stopover for a night due to a lengthy drive. Happened upon this hotel late in the evening after an online search. What stood out for me was the service. Everyone I came in contact with were super helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. Especially considering my German is very poor, and I was helped in English. Particular credit to the front desk girl with the amazing tattoo (didn't catch her name). Would be keen to stay again for an extended time, purely based on the service I received. Breakfast was really good also. Bed was comfy, and very quiet rooms. Pillows were too soft for my taste, but still slept well.

Just had lunch, and I did not book a room in the hotel. It was a very tasty meal. The meat is very well prepared. Compliments to the cook.

Beautiful hotel. The exterior does not compliment the effort gone into the interior design but you step in and are blown away on presentation. Very friendly staff, both PM/AM staff spoke English to make check in / check out smooth. Breakfast was very tasty with a basic selection of dry, cooked and cold foods. The room was spacious overlooking to the east through the almost small valley into town. For the size of the room, the toilet and shower room could have been a larger portion of the room size and the room itself lost some of that character when compared to the foyer and restaurant. Late checkout was an option but was charged per person rather than room, so despite me being on business and my partner wanting to stay in the room until I had finished, the total cost was still €40. Overall a very good hotel, very well priced for the area and very quiet (mid May).
