Nice German hotel in the Harz. Breakfast OK considering the price. Excellent cocktail bar, but they only accepted cash. The surroundings are fantastic - try the liebebanksweg - about a 7 km walk/climb. Room in old fashioned German stile with sofa group in room for entertainment.
A very nice hotel in the mountains. The view from the hotel is beautiful as it looks directly onto the two lakes in the town. Inside the hotel the interior is full of beautifully carved wood. The rooms are nice and well furnished. Additionally, there is both a small swimming pool and two saunas (1 Turkish, 1 Finnish). Our stay included both breakfast and dinner which is a buffet in the connected restaurant (drinks are extra). The breakfast is great with a wide assortment of options. The dinner was ok. I can recommend going to the bar in the evening and sampling the delicious cocktails. If you like hiking there is a very easy trail called the Leibesbank which takes you around the lakes in the area. No WiFi in the rooms, but it is available in the bar.
Good hotel in a old mountain style cabin. The food buffet is German. Nothing over the top but like the place and the nature.
