Room is very Clean . Great Location! Quiet too! Friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast, great value for Money. The Breakfast room has a great view of Rhein! Feel so relaxed here. Will definitely come back. I had am wonderful time here.

Hotel Traube in Rüdesheim - It has been a very long time ago since I was in such (not satisfying) hotel. The best of the hotel is it’s location, near to the center of Ruedesheim and car park next to the hotel. Well the greeting at the reception on arrival was very nice and helpful. The room super small and the bathroom so small I could barely turn around. All interior very old and especially curtains dirty and cushions pads in dining room partly broken or covered with patches. Sleeping almost impossible… even with closed windows you could hear the train passing by all night long. The breakfast was basically ok, nothing special, but sausages, ham, cheese and eggs , coffee, tea and juice - what else do you need ? One special thing I need to mention here. Actually I was supposed to stay twice in this hotel, but had to cancel one booking. I got a confirmation of my cancellation and a receipt of a refund - but the refund I didn’t receive at all. Very strange and disappointing!

The rooms we were given were nothing like the ones shown on the hotel's website. The rooms were outdated with stained carpeting and a stale smell. We were so concerned with the condition of the rooms that we pulled back the sheets to check for bedbugs and found a urine stained mattress. We thought we could flip it over but the underside was even worse than the top. When we spoke to the front desk we were given excuses about why the rooms were so different than the ones posted on their website. We were told it is because we booked a triple room, but when we showed them the picture of the beautiful triple rooms listed on their site the story changed to there being a large tour group and those rooms were no longer available. We were promised one thing and received something completely inferior. It seems as if the hotel acquired a neighboring building and that is where we were placed. We weren't even in the Hotel Traube Rudesheim but that is what we paid for.
