Parking was convenient with a ramp near by. Parking was validated. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the beds were amazing. I slept like a rock! My view over the balcony and public library and courtyard was nice even on the rainy day that kept me mainly inside. Everything was in walking distance from CVS, Target, tons of amazing restaurants and night life. I enjoyed just taking a book and sitting in the adjacent courtyard and people watching. The public library also has a cute garden and a nice playground for children. Just outside the hotel doors. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly and polite. Ready with a smile every time I passed by. The restaurant downstairs had amazing food at great prices. The $3 special martinis were mostly juice but what can you expect for 3 bucks lol still a great bargain and tasty! We only stayed for a few days but I'll definitely be back and getting another room on the 5th floor overlooking the courtyard (with kitchenette). Literally the only bad thing I can think of to say about my stay is there was a broken glass in the dishwasher but it was so minor and easily cleaned up and didn't effect my amazing stay at this hotel at all. Omg almost forgot....I never wanted to get out of the bathtub 🛀.....sooooo deep 🫧. It was perfect for relaxing in after a long day of walking around and exploring the beautiful city.

The hotel is definitely at the center of things in the city. but given you can get anywhere within the range of 20 mins walking distance and free buses idk if the hotel is worth it. There were communication problems with staff, which made simple requests more difficult. you need to make sure to tell the staff multiple times to clean your room, or it might not get done. The beds also don’t get changed often enough for a Hilton. And no breakfast despite what Booking.com etc says. Maybe ask in advance for any amenity promised here or you might be disappointed. Overall, the hotel felt overpriced for the level of service and cleanliness. not what I expected.

I didn’t even stay at this hotel, my travel plans changed so I had to cancel my reservation a day before my arrival. I called them and they told me they could cancel my reservation at no charge (lie). Didn’t think anything of it. Later, I noticed a charge from the hotel. I called and asked for a receipt and the employee on the phone said she would email me my receipt (lie number 2) and the email never showed up. I called the following day and a different employee said I would have to call Hilton corporate for a receipt (lie number 3). I called Hilton corporate and they told me I had to deal directly with the hotel. I called the hotel at 4pm during business hours and asked if the manager on duty could help me. The employee said they had left for the day but would be back the next day (lie number 4) and that they work from 9am to 3pm (sweet gig). I called back on the fourth day and I speak with Brad (shout out Brad he’s the best) and ask for Kayla and informs me that the hotel that has been lying to me all this time, lied to me again and that Kayla was off today even though I was told to specifically ask for her help the following day. Brad is the only employee at this establishment that was worth a damn. He was honest and was actually competent enough to provide a receipt to me of a BS charge. I’d rather have Brian Ferentz coach offense for my football team than deal with these people at Hotel Vetro again (this excludes Brad who, I think need to make this more clear, is an absolute legend). People who might want to stay at this hotel may want to know that the people who work here aren’t helpful and will lie to you so they don’t need to work (not Brad, he’s the real MVP). Sorry for the Fran McCaffery angry rant but the lying and deceit just to get a receipt was over the top.
