Houston Cityplace Marriott at Springwoods Village

We have family in The Woodlands visiting them often. Our first stay at this property was this weekend. It is a wonderful property. The setting is gorgeous and feels much more relaxing than any other hotels where we have stayed in the area. Huge lobby with multiple areas to visit with others with walls of windows and comfortable seating. Thankfully it has an M Club lounge open 24/7 for those with access and breakfast was one of the best we have had in M Clubs. Staff were lovely throughout the hotel. Everything was clean and sparkling. The room was very beautiful but somewhat Spartan. Really attractive sofa and well made but not built for comfort. The bed was typical great high-end Marriott one. It was unusually low - we have stayed in hundreds and hundreds of hotels over the years and never encountered this. We didn’t have trouble getting up, but if others have difficulty getting up from a low bed it could be a challenge. Still, we plan to make this a destination for us on trips to the Houston area. Overall quite amazing.

We did a one night getaway / staycation here and this place deserves 10 stars! Everything was amazing. Smooth and friendly checkin with someone noting from the notes that we were celebrating our anniversary, spacious rooms, connected parking garage with ample parking, fully equipped huge gym, infinity outdoor pool, gorgeous beautiful lobby and cleanliness maintained! To our surprise when we came back in the room in the evening there was an anniversary cheesecake waiting for us! Wow. Goes to show that they are taking service very seriously! Room was well stocked with a comfortable bed and a lovely lake view. The M Lounge had a great variety of nuts, snacks, beverages and coffee 24/7. We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast! Waffles, eggs, potatoes, breads, assorted croissants and muffins, cereal, oats and so much more! Fruit was so fresh! Loved it! The surrounding area is gorgeous with some restaurants nearby, a lake trail and greenery. We will not hesitate to be back! Thank you to the management and staff for making our stay so special.

This is our second time staying here and diffinately Not the last one. The hotel itself is very clean, the rooms are nice and new. The food in the restaurant is of good quality, and the portions are large. The bartenders are very friendly and serve good drinks. It has an infinity pool that overlooks the lake and fountain (very relaxing). Although it's not very large, it's beautiful. The hotel is located in an excellent area, about 27 miles to downtown Houston. There is a park across from the Hotel, "City Place Park", which often has free activities for children and adults on weekends. There are plenty of places to sit around the park, and the lake is beautiful. It also has a trail to take some good walks.
