I had an outstanding experience at the Marriott, all thanks to Theo at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, Theo went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, seamless, and truly welcoming. His kindness, professionalism, and warm demeanor made a lasting impression. Theo is incredibly helpful with every request, always with a smile and a genuine desire to assist. He’s not only efficient and knowledgeable, but he also takes the time to make guests feel valued and cared for. It’s rare to come across someone who truly embodies what hospitality is all about — Theo is that person. Thank you, Theo, for making my stay so memorable — you are a true star and I will definitely be returning to stay at this Marriott with my family!
This hotel is simply the best in every way. The members of the staff here are caring and compassionate…very much appreciated considering the number of guests staying here for serious illnesses, utilizing the numerous medical facilities in this area. The shuttle drivers are all exceptional and the service they provide is exceptional and valuable.
After 7 visits in 5 months, here is what I have to share: They advertise an indoor pool and do not have one (the only real bummer here). The rooms are clean. The food on-site is good with 5 stars for the breakfast buffet and breakfast service. They remember us every visit and are so attentive! The dinner on-site has service that is lacking, but the food is good. The first dinner service we had actually had to be relocated to the breakfast area due to an event, and the staff were exceptionally attentive and personable. Every visit within the dinner/bar space has been mildly neglectful in service and cold in personality. I decided, on the last visit, that we wouldn't go anymore for feeling like a burden to be eating and served... not worth the good food and ease of access. There is a strip of good eats right outside the front lobby door, which makes this location a favorite. I love that there is a necessities/souvenir/coffee shop on the first level. That has been a go-to every visit for late-night snacks, forgotten items, and cute gifts to bring back to Tennessee. The Valet service are so sweet and eager to do the absolute best they can as quickly as they can! Love them every single time. I've used the free shuttle service once, and it went really well. At Christmas, the hotel had a live singing group greeting everyone as they entered, and they gave guests cookies with milk as well. Daily, they do have fruit infused water for guests in the front lobby, which is a nice touch. Speaking of the lobby, they have indoor landscaping that is so beautiful with simple and thoughtfully placed succulents in large beds of dirt. Absolutely love that aesthetic. It's modern and sleek and isn't overwhelming, which keeps the space so light, open, and airy. I love this hotel for all of the things above and that it's a 5-minute walk to the Texas Children's Hospital, which is why we visit so often. It's the staff who remember us and light up when they see us, the cleanliness, and that amazing breakfast buffet that have me over the top about this place. Oh, and did I mention that they bring out a treasure chest with little gifts for kids when they check in at the lobby. It's the little things.
